Description: Antique New England Shaker turned treenware and tin match holder or Striker. Has graphite paper covering on its exterior where you would strike the matches. Date: Late 1800s Size: 2 1/2" in diameter at the base, 1 1/2" diameter at the top, and is 5 1/4" high with the lid on. Maker: New England Shaker Community Condition: Excellent with scratches & wear to the graphite paper and wooden base commensurate age & use. Lid has minor rust & pitting.
